Hello,

My name is C. A. Jay and I am a Dark Romance Author who resides in scenic upstate New York. I live with my wonderful husband and my two amazing children. We have a house full or crazy pets who keep us on our toes and love every second of it.

I started out really young writing flowery poetry probably about actual flowers if memory serves me right and in my teen years I graduated to angsty poetry I wish I could forget. *cringe* Finally, after taking a long time away from writing I started with short stories here and there and eventually moved onto novels and never looked back.

 

I love writing dark romance in particular, because it lets me and the reader look at a relationship through another lens. We get to see how the darkness inside a character influences everyone and everything around them and how that influence forms the bond between two or more characters.
